Dungeon Master Tiles: The City

*Warning* There is a bit of unsafe language in this video.

Here is my first experience with the Dungeon Master Tile set “The City”.

I was really happy with the Essentials Tile set “The Dungeon” but as a DM I rarely use actual dungeons. I’m more of a city intrigue story teller so I was very excited to get a copy of “The City”. I recorded a short video of the unboxing and then went on to make a small port side encounter map with my fun new tiles.

This is not a review; if you are looking for a review John Pope (ObsidianCrane) wrote a killer article on it. I doubt I could have done any better so I’ll not try.

I spent about five minutes building what I thought was a nice little port location. It’s not something I would use “as is” in one of my games but for a quick fiver I would say it could be fun for an impromptu encounter.

I don’t claim to be a master at encounter layout or design but I do enjoy all the different spaces these tiles allow me to create. I tried to use every tile in the set just to give you a scope of how big your maps can get when using this set.

I hope you got something out of this. If you have yet to try out dungeon tile and you have a bit of extra income I would give them a shot. They can really add some depth to your settings with out a huge price tag.

Thanks for watching, come back for more soon.
