Jerry blames his geek roots on the rhythmic yet cathartic sounds of constant typing at a keyboard, that permeated his ears for 9 months as a womb delver. Other contributing factors may have been getting Nintendo at the age of 5, becoming a Magic: the gathering player at 11, discovering D&D at 13, and that PC he got for his 14th birthday.
His first time playing D&D (2e) was with some friends in the back of a comic shop, his inner gamer was evolving once more despite his character being incinerated to death almost instantly. Suddenly the boundaries set by card and video games seemed confining and obtrusive – a DM was born!
Outside of the gaming world he’s an IT/Social Media guy & wannabe writer, husband to the beautiful @momanatrix & father of two goblinoid minions who enjoy pilfering shiny objects and flushing valuables down the toilet. In his spare time he enjoys the finer things in life such as video games, punk rock, cheap beer, playing paintball, and ranting about things he hates.
You can read more of his work over at The Dread Gazebo which is his own D&D blog, or follow him on twitter (@dreadgazeebo) for up to the minute doses of D&D, gaming, and the occasional random blurb.
